Hello out there! I realize I haven't posted for a very long time. I find I am sharing our weekly learning adventures on FRESHGRADE with my 6T families and haven't made it over to my blog for a long time. I do want to continue sharing on this platform, mostly because I miss communicating with my number one and only blogging buddy Santera! P.s. I miss you! Please enjoy some FALL learning highlights from 6T. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to spend every day of grade 6 with these extraordinary students! Camp Evergreen is an amazing place to visit! As you can see from the smiles on all of our faces, that we had a great day at CAMP!
Wow! We are so incredibly lucky to learn and grow in a bright new learning space! Our first two days in grade 6 were filled with smiles, team building and the start of new friendships. The energy in 6T is contagious. We were busy figuring out our new learning space, setting our 6T structures, rules and expectations. Check out our first day pictures, our getting to know you activity, gathering with 6K for story and reflections as well as our team challenge at the end of the day!
Don't miss MEET THE TEACHER evening on August 30, 2016 from 3-6 pm.
I give you back your child on Friday afternoon, the same child you confidently entrusted to my care last September. I give them back to you a bit taller, a whole lot wiser, more responsible and much more mature. It has been my pleasure and privilege to teach your child! I give them back reluctantly, for having spent 10 months together in the narrow confines of our crowded classroom we have grown close and have become a 6TE family. Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. I am so proud of each and every student and know they will all achieve great things! I look forward to hearing about their journey in their future.Today we "Spoke for the Trees" in 6TE. Students, please comment on 3 reasons why trees are so valued and important.
Today we celebrated Earth Day in 6TE. We learned and reminded each other about the simple things that we can do everyday that will make a big difference in protecting our planet. Way to go 6TE....helping to make our community and earth a better place.
