I am so excited to teach you this year! Let's get to know each other a little bit! A few valuable pieces of information about Mrs. Tennant:
Welcome Back! Iron Ridge is excited to meet and welcome our new grade 5 students as well as reconnect with our grade 6-9 population. Don't forget to join us for "Meet the Teacher" night on Thursday, August 28, 2014. This gives students the opportunity to meet their homeroom teacher, find their locker and drop their school supplies off. We are looking forward to another awesome year of learning and growing together at IRON RIDGE JUNIOR CAMPUS.
IRJC believes in the learning power of Chromebooks. We are offering a Parent Purchase Plan to our grade 7 and 8 students. Please check out the link to all the information you will need to purchase a chromebook through Wolf Creek School Division. IRJC staff challenged any "brave" students who purchased tickets to play dodge ball against their teachers at the new ABBEY Center in Blackfalds. All funds raised are going to a school in High River for their Spring Field Trip Fund. IJ students raised close to $1000.00 for Ecole Joe Clark School in High River. So proud of their determination and generosity. Staff and students had a "ball" of a time competing for the title of "Dodge Ball Champs 2014".
